OC - 50% aggregate in (M) (P) (C)
BC - 45% aggregate in (M) (P) (C)
MBC - 40% aggregate in (M) (P) (C)
SC/ST - mere pass
Other state students are considered in OC category

Lateral entry - B.E./B.Tech:
Students of diploma stream are admitted at second year level of the four year bachelor degree programme.

MCA - a pass in any recognised bachelor degree of minimum (10+2+3) years duration in any discipline with core mathematics at +2 level or mathematics / statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

MBA - a pass in any degree (10+2+3) years duration
