The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in the year 2001. From its birth, the department is playing its role in producing skilled Communication Engineers
The Department consists of a team of eminent and experienced faculty including Professors and Assistant Professors. Its students association NIMBUZ is conducting various seminars and workshops in order to improve the skill set of the students.

All the laboratories of the department are fully equipped with most modern and sophisticated equipments for the students not only to perform the curriculum based experiments but also to carry out certain research oriented projects. Few of the major equipments available are Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Cathode Ray Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzer, Function Generators, 8085, 8086, 8051 Microcontroller kits, Different types of kits like DSP, TMS, Servomotor Controllers with 30 numbers of Pentuim-IV Systems.
